Brief Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.     This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals     are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.     The solicitation number is W91ZRS-04-Q-0017 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ).     The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The SIC code is 8711, the NA ICS code is 541330, with size standard of $4 mil.     The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-24.     The Connecticut Army National Guard (CTARNG) has a requirement for an indefinite de livery/indefinite quantity contract for environmental sampling services.     The Government anticipates awarding a one year base contract, with options to extend the contract for four additional years, a potential total of five years.     The sampling contractor     must be capable of satisfactorily collecting and delivering to a contracted laboratory, samples of waste products, soil, ground water and storm water. This work shall consist of annually conducting two rounds of sampling activities: Sampling materials in our waste streams associated with fuel, oil and gasoline storage facilities, and vehicle maintenance operations.     This will include sampling of oil/water separators in compliance with the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (CTDEP) General P ermit for Vehicle Maintenance Wastewater.
