CSS Informatics Releases eLoader 3.5

PPD, Inc. announced that CSS Informatics, the clinical and safety data management consulting services and proprietary e-technologies division within PPD, has released an enhanced version of its specialized software product, eLoader. Used by pharmaceutical companies to convert study data from external systems to the Oracle® Clinical format, eLoader 3.5 now loads trial protocol information into Oracle Clinical in addition to loading patient response data.

This advance establishes eLoader as the only technology that provides a gateway for loading data directly from any external source into Oracle Clinical and Oracle Thesaurus Management System (TMS). The improved technology allows companies to move data from labs, electronic data capture systems, external vendors, data management systems and other sources into Oracle Clinical. In addition, eLoader 3.5 also expands the types of patient response data files that can be loaded into Oracle Clinical to include text, table, CDISC ODM and SAS Transport, making it the only direct interface between these structures and Oracle Clinical.

“The enhanced capabilities of eLoader represent a significant advance for clients in managing their clinical and safety data,” said Larry Kaufman, vice president of CSS Informatics. “A company running an independent patient recruitment tool can have that information loaded directly into Oracle Clinical without manual intervention, thus simplifying and speeding the processing and validation of data.”
