Advocate Health Care is seeking a part-time CV Rad Tech for our Sherman Hospital location in Elgin, IL.
Position: CV Rad Technologist Cardiac Cath Lab– Part-Time Day Shift

CV Rad Tech Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing technical assistance to physicians and care of patients (in collaboration with other healthcare providers during all phases of cardiac catheterization diagnostic, interventional, and electrophysiology procedures in accordance with professional standards and established departmental policies and procedures.
- Providing competent, proficient, technical support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, implementing procedural standards and protocols.
- Providing patient care specific to procedural requirements and patient needs (under the supervision of physicians and Cath Lab nursing personnel) within established departmental policies for scope of practice.
- Serving as a preceptor and resource related to orientation and new interventional devices.
- Providing support and education to patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
- Assist patients in positioning/transfer with possible exposure to blood, body fluids and radiation.
- Stocking of supplies.

Experience Required:
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology. Minimum of 3 years interventional Cath Lab experience.
Experienced Level: Intermediate computer, film processing, hemodynamic interpretation, IV therapy and basic patient assessment skills. Current RT license in State of Illinois and current AART registry.
BCLS certification.
