DataLabs Launches Program for Contract Research Organizations Featuring Software, Services and Benefits Optimized for CROs
DataLabs, an innovative developer of Internet-based applications for clinical development, announced today a new program to help contract research organizations (CROs) expand their services and improve the clinical development process.
The DataLabs CRO Partner Program makes accelerating clinical trials easy and affordable with a suite of software, services and benefits designed specifically for the unique needs of CROs. Octagon Research Solutions of King of Prussia, Penn., a leading provider of regulatory, clinical, process and IT solutions for the biopharmaceutical industry, has announced the company will join the CRO Partner Program.
“As the preferred providers of outsourced services for the biopharmaceutical industry, we are in the ideal position to drive best practices in technology solutions like electronic data capture (EDC) and electronic submissions while delivering significant value to sponsors,” said James C. Walker, president and CEO at Octagon. “Octagon is committed to helping customers streamline the entire clinical R&D process, and the DataLabs CRO Partner Program is a great opportunity for us to expand our electronic submissions solutions to further reduce clinical development costs and accelerate product time to market.”
The DataLabs CRO Partner program includes the DataLabsXC CRO Edition software suite for clinical study design, electronic data capture and data management, which can be privately labeled to the CRO partner and is configurable to meet the various processes of the CRO’s pharmaceutical clients. The program also features flexible pricing options that provide partners with a path to increased revenues, a CRO service program designed to meet the special needs of organizations using software to provide outsourced services, and the opportunity for charter members to join the DataLabs CRO Advisory Board.
“DataLabs is pleased to give CROs the opportunity to expand their services and revenue base by becoming a member of our CRO Partner Program,” said James Langford, DataLabs president. “Because CROs conduct more than half of all clinical trials, we feel it is important to offer a compelling program that provides tangible benefits for all industry stakeholders, from CROs and sponsors to regulatory agencies and consumers.”
