Director, Precision Medicine (CDx) – Solid Tumors
The successful candidate for this role will be a critical member on the solid Tumor franchise team (TAFINLAR+MEKINIST, Zykadia, INC 280, Votrient, IO portfolio) and be specifically responsible for supporting the porfolio regions and countries in our companion diagnostic support strategies and efforts to optimized diagnostic testing for our portfolio.
Major Accountabilities (Describe the 5-7 main results of the role to be achieved )
• Work in collaboration with internal stakeholders on Global Melanoma & Lung Marketing Team(s), Medical Affairs Team(s), Value & Access Team(s) and Early Commercial Strategy – Companion Diagnostics team to help optimize the testing environment for our portfolio
• Actively engage with key country and regions to ensure strong local CDx plans are co-created, and executed. Prepare Integrated Disease And Product Strategy (IDAPS) plans and drive tactical plans for support/endorsement by senior management and implementation by the regions/countries
• Ensure development of strategy and execution for appropriate disease education and awareness programs to support broad utilization of mutation testing (melanoma and lung) of appropriate patient population
• Build relationships to gain relevant key insights with Global Melanoma/Lung, laboratory, and pathology medical experts to support optimal CDx strategy and tactics
• Work closely with global indication leads on patient related initiatives and align with regions / countries on prioritized activities
• Work in collaboration with external alliances (pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies, associations) to drive industry wide initiatives to promote the use of broad testing
• Support lung franchise strategy to ensure CDx is well aligned with product pipeline and optimized for future market

Requirements:
Minimum requirements • BA/BS required. Advanced degree (PhD, MBA, MS, MD) preferred.
• English required
• 10 plus years in a country, region, or global role on a brand or strategy consulting experience required
• Marketing Operational Skills required: Knowledge of and ability to effectively apply basic marketing operating capabilities (e.g., budget planning & management, tactical planning, communication with stakeholders, medical expert engagement, promotional material development )
• 5 years of oncology experience is desired with a background in strategy, development and/or management of compounds with molecular targets preferred
• Experience with laboratory testing and/or CDx test development and commercialization preferred
