The Department of Justice/Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). This is a release of a DRAFT RFP for industry comment and synopsis of proposed contract action 0720123828. This is not a solicitation or invitation for offerors to submit proposals. Please note that all dates listed in this synopsis are tentative and are subject to change.
The government intends to issue the final solicitation (RFP) on or about 14 June 12. This acquisition will be 100% set-aside for small business (small business must accomplish at least 51% of the services performed) utilizing North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code of 541512 with a size standard of $25.5M. The intent is to award a commercial (FAR Part 12) competitive best value source selection using the tradeoff process in accordance with FAR 15.101-1.
