Eisai Research Institute Implements ACD/Labs’ Processors throughout Discovery Research Facility

Advanced Chemistry Development, Inc., (ACD/Labs) today announced that Eisai Research Institute (ERI) has chosen ACD/Labs’ software to perform advanced spectral and chromatographic processing on their complex synthetic and organic chemical compounds.

ACD/1D NMR Processor, ACD/MS Processor, and ACD/ChromProcessor modules will be deployed onto desktops throughout the ERI facilities in Andover and Wilmington, Massachusetts, enabling scientists to process a wide range of instrument data file types using one common interface, and simultaneously granting access to universal chemical drawing and reporting capabilities.

Scientists at ERI will access ACD/Labs Processors through Synthematix’s ARTHURâ„¢ Suite reaction planning software. Through an ongoing partnership between ACD/Labs and Synthematix, ARTHUR users can gain access to selected market-leading ACD/Labs tools from directly within the ARTHUR interface. ERI recently licensed ARTHUR to facilitate improved data communication between their discovery and process research groups, and plan to integrate ACD/Labs Processors with ARTHUR so that scientists will be able to retrieve, view, and process analytical data via the same familiar interface.

“We found the ACD/Labs software to be a flexible and comprehensive toolset that allows us to integrate analytical data of various types into our electronic notebook and archive system”, states Ted Suh, Ph.D., Director of Lead Identification at Eisai Research Institute.

Kevin Turnbull, Regional Sales Manager for ACD/Labs, adds, “We are delighted that Eisai Research Institute has chosen ACD/Labs Software to standardize the handling of spectral and chromatographic data within its research environment. The compatibility of the ACD/Labs Software with Synthematix ARTHUR Suite adds even greater impact because analytical data will be accessible to the chemists at ERI in a highly logical workflow.”
