EISC JOINS THERMO SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR TOUR FOR THIRD YEAR

EISC, international provider of scientific application software for seamless instrument and informatics integration and automation, joins Thermo Scientific for the third year on their free seminar tour this spring, which will focus on trace elemental analysis for the environmental lab.

The Metals Analytical Review & Reporting System (MARRS) will be featured in this half day seminar reviewing the latest technologies, applications and protocols designed specifically for the environmental laboratory. This seminar will cover the latest advances in analytical instrumentation and productivity tools for trace element analysis. Current US EPA legislation and its impact on your laboratory will be reviewed. Strategies to increase speed and sensitivity for improved productivity and capability with reduced cost-per-analysis will be discussed in a friendly, interactive environment. Advanced topics including tools for data review and electronic deliverables, collision cell technology for interference removal and elemental speciation will be covered in detail.

MARRS is key because it bridges the functionality gap that exists between the analytical instrument raw data and the information that is delivered to the lab’s internal and external clients. It’s seamless universal connectivity platform assimilates and summarizes dynamic analytical instrument data into comprehensive analytical information. EISC systems automatically interface with all Thermo Scientific instruments, as well as other instruments and third party informatics, to create a seamless process workflow that integrates all data to a central point for automated quality assurance, analytical production, report generation, and/or electronic transfer of the information within the lab and across industries. The entire process from instrument raw data to information delivery can be performed in just five steps, taking minutes versus hours.

“We’re glad to be back again this year with Thermo,” states EISC Vice President and CTO, Paul Banfer.  “It’s a great group of professionals and a great opportunity for everyone involved.  The companies get a chance to interact with the customers to really understand their business and their needs, and the customers are able to experience the latest technology and have any of their questions answered immediately.  We look forward to it every year.”
