ChemWare to Host Advanced Laboratory Informatics Webinar Series

 

Free educational webinars to focus on how laboratories leverage technology to increase efficiency, improve quality, and reduce costs.

 

ChemWare is pleased to announce the kick-off of its series of educational webinars focusing on technology issues and trends in the laboratory industry.  These quarterly webinars will present laboratory, technology, business and operations personnel with information and case studies on current industry technology developments. 

 

The first installment of the series entitled Electronic Media Emerging Technologies:  Tools and Trends will be held June 5th at 11:30 a.m. Eastern Time.  The presentation, co-sponsored by Astrix Technology Group, will examine emerging technologies and their use within a laboratory setting, as well as review relevant industry case studies.  The focus of the presentation will include the applicable uses of Mobile Devices, Social Media, Collaborative Software, and Cloud Computing in the laboratory.

 

Rob Walla, Director of Astrix’s Laboratory Informatics Division, will make the 30 minute presentation, followed by a 15 minute Q&A session. Rob, a recognized laboratory expert with more than 20 years of experience in the industry, is currently responsible for the overall management of Astrix’s system implementation, integration and data migration projects.
