The Santa Clara Valley Water District (District) is soliciting Proposals from LIMS vendors that have the professional expertise and experience to provide Water Quality Lab (WQL) at the DISTRICT District with the replacement of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The requested items in the proposal are divided into two parts:
Part I: The purchase of LIMS software including all services needed to get the new LIMS fully functional. These services include, but not limited to, installation, configuration, migration of legacy data, testing, training, and technical support during and after initial development period.
Part II: All technical services needed for customization, integration of existing application with the new LIMS software: ReportMaker tool, Aspen Field Sampling tool, and LIMS-Instrument Import module.
The ideal LIMS Vendor should have experience with building and setting up LIMS software solution for water testing laboratories, preferably in the State of California. The ideal Vendor should also have professional developers who are familiar with both platforms used by the newly purchased LIMS and the existing LIMS to provide the needed services.
