Expanded Informatics Product Line Unveiled at Pittcon 2005: Offering Now Includes Laboratory Software for Bioanalysis and In Vitro Testing

Thermo Electron Corporation, the world leader in analytical instruments, will showcase its expanded Laboratory Software Solutions offering at Pittcon 2005 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, February 27 – March 4.  A full range of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and integrated chromatography data systems (CDS), including award-winning commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) LIMS solutions for the pharmaceutical industry will be on display at Booth # 2917.

Thermo’s exhibit will feature its world-class SampleManager LIMS, Nautilus LIMS and Atlas CDS solutions along with complementary laboratory software that was added to the company’s portfolio with the September acquisition of InnaPhase Corporation, a provider of innovative software products for the pharmaceutical industry.

Thermo’s expanded portfolio now provides a full range of software solutions to take pharmaceutical corporations from discovery through to manufacturing.  These include Watsonâ„¢ LIMS, the industry standard for bioanalytical labs at top 20 pharmaceutical companies, biotech and contract research organizations worldwide, and Galileoâ„¢ LIMS, designed specifically in vitro testing in early drug discovery and development, as well the Enterprise Pharmacology (EP) Seriesâ„¢ and Kineticaâ„¢, database analytical tools for pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.
