Experience takes Chemtech to the USA

Chemtech business partner relationship with Petrobras goes back 15 years.  Over that time, Chemtech has progressed from providing basic engineering process support to becoming Petrobras’ major engineering partner.

Chemtech has over 40 full time engineers embedded in the Petrobras organization providing turnkey control solutions and assisting in operations and maintenance activities.

Petrobras’ confidence in Chemtech has accelerated over recent years to the point where Chemtech was given leadership to execute the FPSO BR P-57 FEED project.  Chemtech expertise reaches across the entire Petrobras asset portfolio from production to refining involving resolution to complex engineering issues.

Chemtech has used the Petrobras relationship to reach out globally embracing such customers as ExxonMobil and Aramco.  The ExxonMobil relationship has grown significantly due to Chemtech’s ability to exceed the customer’s expectations in terms of the quality of solutions.  Flawless execution is ExxonMobil’s objective and Chemtech has been able to fulfill this goal.
Chemtech is now using the ExxonMobil business relationship to penetrate deeply into the US.  Leading this effort will be Mr. Flavio Guimaraes who has been appointed as the new President of Chemtech USA.

Recently, Chemtech has been able to secure additional business through partnerships with other US engineering companies and has had very fruitful discussions with both ExxonMobil and Chevron about becoming a qualified FEED company for their projects.

Mr. Luiz Rubiao, Chemtech’s CEO, based in Rio has very high expectations for the US branch office and is now pursing efforts to bring US based engineering talent into the organization.
