EVERETT, WA–(Marketwire – Aug 25, 2011) – Fluke® Calibration, a leader in precision calibration instrumentation and software, introduces COMPASS for Pressure version 4.0 pressure calibration management software. This latest version of the industry-leading pressure calibration software provides calibration professionals an off-the-shelf tool that maximizes the automation of calibration and testing processes.
COMPASS for Pressure is a universal platform for all pressure calibration software needs. From piston gauges calibrating individual devices in the calibration lab to transfer standards characterizing racks of sensors in production, the software enables calibration professionals to advance from individual automated hardware components to a fully automated calibration system quickly without consuming internal engineering resources.
The new software integrates calibration functions with pressure-specific dependencies that are missing from more generic software. It enables users to export test data directly to the MET/CAL Plus Calibration Management System, so users can easily manage inventory, calibration locations, maintenance and customers. Version 4.0 features an improved interface between COMPASS and MET/CAL Plus, so that customized fields can be used easily and the migration process is even more transparent.
Version 4.0 adds auto-detect support for Ruska references and integrated support of Ruska auto-float controllers and piston gauge monitors, enabling WinPrompt software users to easily upgrade to the full-function COMPASS platform. It also features fully automated calibration and adjustment of Fluke 700 pressure modules when used with a Fluke controller reference.
