Fourth Generation of Pipeline Pilot Available for Linux Platform; Innovative Data Pipelining Solution for Drug Discovery Informatics

SciTegic®, Inc. announced the official release of  Pipeline Pilot(TM) for the Linux platform. With this fourth generation release, customers now have the ability to deploy Pipeline Pilot from Windows or Linux servers.  Support for this additional platform makes it possible for customers to use SciTegic’s powerful data integration and automation framework within their growing resource of clustered computing systems.

Pipeline Pilot provides a highly flexible platform for integrating disparate data and applications and for capturing and automating multi-step data processing tasks.  Its availability on the Linux platform broadens the array of available third-party software tools that can be tightly integrated with Pipeline Pilot.

“Over the past year or so, many of our customers have indicated a desire to deploy Pipeline Pilot on easily scalable Linux clusters,” said Mathew Hahn, Ph.D., President and CEO of SciTegic. “Our efforts over the past year have resulted in a robust and high performance port of Pipeline Pilot to Linux. We expect many users to migrate and leverage this highly scalable architecture.”
