Great Place to Work Institute advisors from all over the world visit Chemtech
Chemtech is considered a fully successful company
Last Friday Great Place to Work Institute advisors from all over the world visited Chemtech. It was the first time this institute organized a global meeting. With Brazil competing among several other countries it was chosen as the host of this event. There were representatives from Brazil, Portugal, Finland, Denmark, Japan, the United States, Ecuador, and Belgium.
“Although it was not considered the best company, but the third best, we were sure to choose it to host the event. The purpose of the meeting is to let the advisors have a close look at things they only hear of about the companies considered the best. Chemtech has some excellent practices and many distinct features; it is a fully successful company”, remarked José Tolovi Jr., chairman of Great Place to Work Institute in Brazil.
The advisors were able to attend some lectures, visit Chemtech facilities, talk to the employees and learn about the personnel management practices implemented in the company. “When we decided to set up the company, we wanted to make Chemtech a place where ethics and respect would come in the first place; a place where it would be good to work at, with a pleasant environment. To this day we still believe in it and we can see that profit and productivity are but a consequence of the respect, of having happy employees, and of the close relationship we cherish with our collaborators. We don’t simply create jobs, we create quality jobs”, said Geraldo Rochocz, Chemtech founding partner and R&D director, during the visit.
Robert Levering, co-founder of the Great Place to Work Institute – was impressed by what he saw at Chemtech: “José Tolovi Jr. had already told me that the selection process at Chemtech was quite interesting and an excellent social responsibility practice. Now I’m able to see it by myself. My impression about the company is extremely positive and I’m surprised to see so many young people. This is rarely seen in an engineering company”, he pointed out.
Motivation, commeradery, and honesty are some of the ingredients that guaranty the success, prosperity, and good working environment found at Chemtech. Luiz Eduardo Rubião, Chemtech founding partner and CEO, believes that these values really make a difference at Chemtech and help in the development of Brazil. “To be chosen as the third best company to work at in Brazil is worth more than any market, economy or financial prizes”, concluded Rubião to stress the importance of people in the success of the company.
