How to easily track radioactive sources, items, intermediates and products
The Matrix Rutherford system features workflows for Environmental District Surveys, useful for both active sites and those undergoing decommissioning, Liquid Discharge, Gaseous Discharge and Chemistry applications all in one system.
Matrix Rutherford has been designed as a fully configurable, out of the box LIMS solution in co-operation with several companies working in the nuclear and related industries. The product can be uniquely configured, once only, for use over both the web and desktop
The unique Matrix configuration tools can be used to design exactly the same interface for “rich client” workstations, “thin client” work-stations and “web clients”. Now you can enjoy the proven benefits of the Matrix “workflow” interface without having to install the full application on each workstation, so reducing the burden on your IT group to install and support the application across many locations. All laboratories have much in common. Samples are registered, samples are received into the laboratory; resources are allocated; tests are scheduled, raw results are entered, final values are calculated and compared to expected values, reports are issued and laboratory metrics may be published. Most modern commercial LIMS will provide this base level functionality.
However, each laboratory has some processes that are slightly different and how a commercial LIMS accommodates these differences is the key to their success. The advanced Matrix design and the unique configuration tools allow each Matrix system to be tailored to the individual needs of each laboratory without the need to write custom extensions or scripts. Matrix tools are simple and easy to use – “drag and drop”, “point and click” and no esoteric, proprietary scripting languages to learn!
This configurable, commercial design offers the fit of a custom solution without the problems and costs of on-going support, documentation and upgrades associated with bespoke systems.
