ICAN joins IAQ advisory group and forms alliance with EEF – EMSL part of sole source EPA IAQ Building Education & Assessment Model (I-BEAM) contract
EMSL Analytical, the largest network of accredited environmental testing laboratories in the nation, announced today that The International Custodial Advisors Network, Inc. (ICAN) executive director been appointed to the Environmental Education Foundation’s (EEF) Advisory Group on indoor air quality. ICAN joins EMSL and EEF under a sole source contract by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
“Because of the Environmental Education Foundation’s recognition from the insurance and lending communities for their water intrusion and mold management program, they have now been contracted by the EPA to expand this program to include additional IAQ related items.” Said Allen Rathey, executive director of ICAN. “This expanded program will include the use of the EPA’s IAQ Building Education and Assessment Model (I-BEAM) software as an anchor for a total IAQ management program,” said Rathey in closing.
EEF executive director, Troy Johnson had this to say about their alliance with EMSL. “One of the main reasons the EEF elected EMSL was the fact that EMSL is the laboratory that the insurance, lending and legal professions rely on for the most defensible analytical results.
