IMPAC Medical Systems and Aperio to Develop Integrated Solution for Anatomic Pathology
SUNNYVALE and VISTA, Calif., March 3 /PRNewswire/ — IMPAC Medical Systems, Inc. (IMPAC), an Elekta company and leading provider of information technology solutions for anatomic pathology (AP) laboratories, and Aperio Technologies, (Aperio) a global leader in digital pathology for the healthcare and life sciences industry, announce the development of an interface between PowerPath(R), IMPAC’s AP laboratory information system (LIS), and Spectrum(TM), Aperio’s digital pathology information management system. The interface, now in development at both companies, is designed to optimize workflow and facilitate access of digital slide images and case data between the two systems.
