Information Data Management Announces Implementation of Surround System 4.0 by
Information Data Management, Inc. (IDM) announces the implementation of their Surround 4.0 System by LifeSource Blood Services for its comprehensive process control features and its instrument interface capabilities. LifeSource will utilize the Surround 4.0 system to manage and transmit HIV-1, HCV, and West Nile Virus nucleic acid testing and donor serology results to their clients and to their own blood bank management system. “Surround has streamlined the laboratory’s daily operations by centralizing data collection from all of the testing instruments as well as by further automating the test results reporting processes,” states Sharon Gordon, Executive Director, Testing Laboratory for LifeSource Blood Services. “Surround supports a variety of test result transfer options that are helping us to meet our clients’ specialized needs for receiving test results. Implementation of Surround 4.0 has brought LifeSource another step further in our quest for excellence.”
