InnaPhase Corporation Honored with 2004 Frost & Sullivan Award

PHILADELPHIA, March 3 — InnaPhase Corporation, a world-leading provider of enterprise Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) solutions, today announced that the company received the 2004 Award for Technology Innovation from Frost & Sullivan, a company dedicated to the analyis and forecasting of high-tech markets since 1961.

Frost & Sullivan’s Technology Innovation Award is presented to the company that has demonstrated technological superiority within its industry and recognizes the ability of the company to successfully develop and introduce new technology, formulate a well-designed product family, and make significant product performance contributions to the industry.

In selecting InnaPhase, Frost & Sullivan contrasted the company’s approach to providing built-for-purpose LIMS with generic laboratory management systems that are then heavily customized to meet a customer’s needs. Frost & Sullivan cited InnaPhase’s Pharma LIMS(TM) Suite for ensuring “that each laboratory within a pharmaceutical organization has a LIMS application that is specifically designed for their business practices. Furthermore, each LIMS in the Pharma LIMS Suite was designed in a way to facilitate information sharing throughout the organization. Thus, the customer can optimize both the individual laboratory and the enterprise IT infrastructure.”

The Technology Innovation Award is presented to the company that receives the number one industry ranking, according to Frost & Sullivan, based on its market research and interviews, as well as factors such as product launches, customer acceptance, penetration rates, and time to market.

“This is tremendous recognition for InnaPhase and we are very proud to receive this prestigious award,” said Jo Webber, PhD, President and Chief Executive Officer of InnaPhase Corporation. “It comes after a year of hard work and success in launching our Galileo(TM) LIMS solution for in vitro testing and Newton(TM) LIMS solution for analytical testing, both which were designed specifically for users within the pharmaceutical industry. This was accomplished within a pre-announced timeline and within budget. The employees of InnaPhase, who possess both the intellectual capacity and passion to be world leaders, are truly deserving of this award.”

“Frost & Sullivan expects InnaPhase’s highly cost-efficient system to play a huge role in the company’s growth and market share gain,” said Dorman Followwill, partner and global vice president, Healthcare and Life Sciences for Frost & Sullivan.
