Instrument Data Comes Together Through LimsLink

This powerful Windows based software can link instruments and LIMS (such as Autoscribe Matrix LIMS) into a seamless automated solution that allows managers to maintain data integrity across an entire laboratory. The key aspects of this system are the powerful 2 way communication that manages data flow to and from a wide range of sources, the versatility of data processing and flexible configuration of user displays.

With LimsLink, laboratories can improve their turn around times by automating the collection, calculation and reporting of laboratory data, and save time and costs by reducing the level of technical analyst involvement. Comprehensive reports that include data from multiple instruments are easy to create, whilst common analytical SPC functions have been incorporated for flexible data manipulation. Unlike manual data entry activities, LimsLink eliminates transcription errors through direct data transfer and user security access has been addressed to meet the latest ISO standards. A standard platform also reduces implementation and training times, and automatic data handling saves time and effort. Laboratories would use LimsLink typically to generate work lists from a LIMS system, communicate with various instruments, transfer work lists to an instrument, combine results from multiple instruments, review results and automatically perform calculations. An optional control module is also available to automate various instruments such as robots, samplers, detectors, meters, pumps and dilutors through an RS232 link.
