Interax Group Helps Halton Healthcare Upgrade Their Document Control and Compliance Management Systems

(Vocus/PRWEB) March 03, 2011

Halton Healthcare Services, a Paradigm II user since 2006 became the 10th Paradigm II customer to complete the process of moving over to Paradigm 3 Document Control and Compliance Management software. Halton Healthcare has been using Paradigm II since 2006 to manage their Ontario Laboratory Accreditation program (ISO 15189 equivalent).

Converting to Paradigm 3 brought many benefits including improved methodology in regards to setting up workflows, additional features in managing documents, and a complete revamp of how security works making it much more flexible and focused on individual departments and facilities. Paradigm 3 retains many of the advantages of Paradigm II including the fact the whole system is managed by the end user with no IT involvement required with the exception of performing back up.

“The process of converting is very simple” said Judy Maxwell, Lab Quality Coordinator, “with Interax taking the data from PII and providing a complete conversion service including training on the new system and providing a redesigned Intranet site the whole process only taking 2 weeks from start to finish”.

“We are pleased that organizations are taking the step to move to our new platform and will have at least another 12 conversions in the next two months that along with a number of new installations in the first two months of year gives is a great vote of confidence in our software product,” said Gary Halford, Interax President.

Halton Healthcare Services is a multi-site healthcare organization providing access to three of the best community hospitals in the province. Serving the growing communities of Milton, Oakville, Clarkson and Halton Hills and together, they serve over 300,000 residents.
