The Florida Department of Corrections owns and operates several water treatment plants (WTP’s), wastewater treatment plants (WWTP’s) and groundwater monitoring wells at facilities throughout the State of Florida. It is necessary to perform periodic analyses on samples from the facilities, to ensure compliance with the respective operating permits and to comply with the current regulations of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
The department is seeking qualified vendors to provide certified laboratory services for the department’s WTP’s, WWTP’s, and groundwater monitoring wells located throughout the state in accordance with the solicitation documents.
If regulations are revised by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), the testing frequency, protocol or actual items will be adjusted accordingly.
