| Contractor shall provide Atascadero State Hospital with clinical and anatomical pathology services on a consultive basis and shall assist the medical staff of Atascadero State Hospital in providing the highest quality of pathology and clinical laboratory services reasonable and consistent with available resources. Contractor shall assure that evaluations and documentation meet the requirements and standards set forth by Licensing and JCAHO.
Contractor shall also provide pathology services (processing and interpretation of specimens) to Atascadero State Hospital patients whose specimens have been obtained at Atascadero State Hospital or have been submitted via other community facilities for inpatient and/or outpatient care. The Contractor shall provide a pathologist who shall be present in the Clinical Laboratory at Atascadero State Hospital for a minimum of one (1) hour, two (2) days per month to provide on-site consultative and educational services. The Contractor/Pathologist shall be available at all times, on a consultative basis, to the clinical laboratory staff. Contractors are advised that Atascadero State Hospital REQUIRES each bidding contractor to submit a bid percentage based on the 2004 “St. Anthony’s Relative Values for Physicians”. The amount bid may be any percentage from below 100% to above 100%. |
