Jivan Launches Software for Alternative Splicing Analysis
(Jan 12, 2007) – Jivan Biologics announced the release of SpliceFold™, a software package for analysis of alternative splicing from microarray data. Jivan’s software is the first dedicated solution for splice variant microarray analysis, scalable to whole genome and whole spliceome analysis for human, mouse and other organisms.

SpliceFold™ software supports Jivan’s industry-leading genome-wide human and mouse splice arrays, while also providing the flexibility to analyze data from non-Jivan array designs. SpliceFold™ implements industry standard algorithms as well as Jivan’s own data analysis techniques. A beta release was made available to early access customers in September 2006. The current release is available to all Jivan customers at no additional charge. In the future Jivan may charge for premium versions of the software.
