JusticeTrax moves LIMS-plus® v3.8 to Beta Testing

MESA, Ariz., April 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — JusticeTrax, Inc., the leading provider of laboratory information management systems to the forensic science laboratory community has delivered a beta test version of LIMS-plus® version 3.8 to a subset of existing customers who will operate the application with a copy of their current database with years of records. The company has performed extensive testing of v3.8 and now desires to obtain feedback from forensic laboratory users.

JusticeTrax, Inc., an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, currently supports 109 customers in 176 locations with its mainline application, LIMS-plus®, as well as several ancillary applications, all designed and delivered to improve the effectiveness of the forensic science and criminal justice environments.

JusticeTrax, Inc. President Simon Key commented “JusticeTrax has always been a customer focused company and our customers told us that they were largely happy with LIMS-plus version 3 and largely unhappy with the development platform. We listened and came up with LIMS-plus 3.8 as a solution to the conundrum. This is a continuation of our mission to keep our customers productive in their vital work.”

Work to evolve LIMS-plus®, which has been used continuously in forensic laboratories since 1996, began in earnest over 2 years ago. The architecture of the retooled application is built upon an SQL database, a data access layer, a business layer, and a browser delivered user interface. LIMS-plus® v3.8 is also being delivered with a full-fledged web application program interface (API).
