JusticeTrax® Unveils LIMS-plus DNA Forensic Science Laboratory Software

Mesa, AZ (PRWEB) February 13, 2014

JusticeTrax LIMS-plus DNA is a stand-alone DNA software application designed to reduce DNA backlogs by automating forensic sample processing for both forensic science casework and databanks. LIMS-plus DNA also automates the delivery of DNA profiles to local, state, and national databanks.

Some of the benefits of using LIMS-plus DNA include improvements in efficiency, productivity, consistency, and flexibility. The application uses a modern, browser based architecture, which requires no locally installed software and is designed to integrate with other applications.

“For the past two years, we’ve worked with a number of our customers in a number of countries to design and build this state-of-the-art forensic DNA analysis application. We couldn’t have done this without the dedication of our employees and the support of our customers, and I’m very proud of the result,” said Simon Key, JusticeTrax President.

LIMS-plus DNA was designed by forensic scientists in consultation with current JusticeTrax customers, allowing for modifications in analysis flow when necessary. However, each laboratory can establish mandatory tasks and conditions based on its own validated procedures. Using the dynamic user interface, the system administrator has the ability to add additional data elements to LIMS-plus DNA. This provides ultimate control and ensures that all pertinent laboratory examination activity can be recorded.
