Lab Systems Technologist
The lab information system technologist participates in system analysis, computer security, results retrieval/transmittal to and from remote facilities, billing, compliance, interfacing anatomic and clinical pathology systems to the hospital information system, and interfacing to systems off-campus clients and reference laboratories. The purpose of the position is to enable accurate, speedy, customer-focused and cost effective data distribution and information generation to optimize patient care.
Qualifications
ASCP, NCA certification or equivalent
Associate's degree or equivalent.
*3-5 years of laboratory work experience.
*Prior experience in program languages.
*Experience with LIS, HIS or PC environments preferred.
