Labtronics Inc. Announces New Scientific Data Management System Incorporates Powerful Data Collection and Reporting

Guelph, ON – March 16, 2009 – Labtronics Inc. is pleased to announce the release of Nexxis SDMS a powerful and cost effective Scientific Data Management System that stores and manages scientific data and documentation while easily integrating with existing laboratory informatics systems such as LIMS, ELN, ERP and instrument data systems.

Nexxis SDMS uniquely combines the power of LimsLink for collecting, parsing and reporting laboratory data with the proven success of the KnowledgeTreeâ„¢ Documentation System for central, secure storage and retrieval of documents.

“KnowledgeTree is the perfect fit for LimsLink”, says Robert Pavlis, President of Labtronics Inc. “The application’s powerful document management features and ease of use, combined with the data collection and reporting of LimsLink, provide laboratories with all the functionality required for secure automated management of scientific data and documentation”.

LimsLink’s powerful graphical data parser extracts complete and accurate metadata from instrument files, without any custom coding, and uses that metadata to tag files as they are stored in Nexxis SDMS. At the same time, LimsLink can parse the raw data and send reports directly to LIMS or other informatics applications.

Available as a stand-alone application or as the newest addition to the Nexxis iLAB suite of informatics solutions, Nexxis SDMS provides laboratories with secure central storage and fast access to the data and information that they need for reporting, for problem investigation and resolution and for audit purposes.
