LabVantage Announces Grand Opening of Innovation Center
LabVantage announced the grand opening of LabVantage Innovation Center, an open-source community for SAPPHIRE and SQL*LIMS customers. LabVantage Innovation Center allows source codes, materials, and applications to be freely shared within LabVantage’s customer base.
The center is accessible in VantageCare, LabVantage’s customer care site, developed on the SAPPHIRE Laboratory Information Management Suite (LIMS) platform. By leveraging SAPPHIRE’s zero-footprint technology, modern interface and search functions, users can easily access the center via Internet browser and intuitively navigate through the multiple topics of their interests.
“This infrastructure empowers our clients to foster speed-to-solution through leveraging the existing resources available to them. Moreover, it provides an open forum, enabling the users to interactively discuss issues, solicit input, and network with their fellow industry professionals.” states Peter Boogaard, Vice President of Global Marketing of LabVantage.
LabVantage Innovation Center embraces the concept of the Innovation Center Exchange, launched in 2009 for the SQL*LIMS user group, to provide a structurally enhanced knowledge exchange environment to the extended user community. Already storing a number of application extensions and novel customizations, the repository will be continuously enriched to cover more areas applied to various operational functions and industry segments.
