Symyx Notebook 6.4 accelerates method development and collaborative workflows

(Nasdaq: SMMX) today announced the release of Symyx Notebook 6.4., offering scientists improved support for method development, validation and execution in regulated and non-regulated analytical labs. This latest release of Symyx’s electronic lab notebook (ELN) offers new cross-experiment referencing and reporting capabilities that improve collaborative workflows for multidisciplinary teams working in the life sciences, chemicals, energy and consumer products industries.

•Improved support for sample preparations with auto-generated procedure text and calculations for dilutions and replicates
•Advanced cross-section referencing capabilities with the ability to retrieve section data for a selected set of samples
•New cross-experiment reporting using standard report templates
•Improved form searching with property searches spanning table sections, forms and recipes
