LIMS Analyst/Admin

SCOPE

This position determines the overall configuration approach for the corporate Laboratory Information Management System, Sterility Systems or any other laboratory software to meet end-user needs. Processes Systems change control to include validation paperwork, supports project based activities related to either system.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review Corporate and Business Unit changes to assess impact upon Systems and work with Business Unit to address any gaps

• Create change control documentation including any required validation paperwork

• Coordinate with other IT and Business Unit team members to implement updates or changes in an efficient manner.

• Participates in project teams related to enhancements to the Systems

• Updates any existing validation paperwork related to project

• Develop training plan including but not limited to identify and contact external vendors; identify and schedule SME’s

• Develop and maintain Systems workflows

• Maintain configuration of systems

• Add, modify and remove users from the Systems

• Maintain system security through roles and/or rights administration

• Develops and maintains reports in Systems using reporting tools both internal and external to the systems

• Supports tracking and trending requirements as defined by the business units
