Used oil analysis is a service often provided by lubricant suppliers, and WinLIMS provides a complete data management solution for this sector, including the ability to generate complete historical records, apply different rules for different customers and allow free text engineers’ comments to be incorporated in the report. For the process sector, tank farm management facilities give production and the laboratory immediate access to the status of each tank and its contents. Overall management and control of the many samples that have to be taken to monitor continuous and batch processes is much simplified by the ability of WinLIMS to create a sampling schedule and log in samples automatically.
