Consultant, Quality Systems Analyst, Medical Device (LiMS)
 
Summary
The Consultant, Quality Systems Analyst, will be responsible for developing, enhancing and supporting LIMS and other laboratory quality systems. 
 
Duties/Expectations of Role

  • Work with the Information Services teams for the maintenance of database, data warehouse and data integration within Lab.
  • Develop, enhance and support LIMS systems which include requirement analysis, designing, programming, configuration, upgrades/patches, system documentation, custom reports, debugging and training.
  • Support the business in retrieval of data from LIMS. Provide data for analysis utilizing queries and reporting tools. Develop Crystal and Excel reports, data reports to customers, Key Performance Indicator reports and any other reports needed to support the Laboratory.
  • Maintain industry knowledge of technical advances in LIMS and other laboratory solutions. Develop coding standards and perform code reviews. 

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or Programming preferred. 
  • 3 years of experience with Quality Management Software and Processes.
  • Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
  • Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives and determining when escalation of issues is necessary.
  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
