LIMS Developer

The roles are

  • LIMS Developer (limited travel). For a project in US. Travel will be 3 weeks to the client site for this 7-month project.
  • LIMS Developer with Instrument Integration. For a project in US. Travel will be about 6 to 8 weeks for this 1-year project.
  • LIMS ELN Developer. For a project in US, 80% travel for this 1-year project.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Lead the system development lifecycle (SDLC) as a LIMS developer with instrument integration skills.
  • Proficient in LIMS basic and customization of Labware LIMS system
  • Configure the different core Labware LIMS templates
  • Judge and decide what would be a configuration versus customization and provide advice
  • Perform technical tasks like installations, environment refreshes, performance tracking etc.
  • Investigate, debug and resolve issues
  • Participate in meetings with stakeholders to develop user requirements specifications (URS) to understand business objectives
  • Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation during the system development lifecycle

Support validation of the LIMS:

  • Conduct integration testing, regression testing
  • Assist Software Quality Assurance Analysts in test script development and execution
  • Resolve defects created during user testing in a timely fashion

EXPERIENCE:

  • This ideal candidate will have minimum 7-year experience in LIMS development in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong experience in master data management and migration
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, requirements gathering and validation principles
  • Experience in requirements gathering, developing user requirements specification, functional specification, validation plans, and test scripts (IQ, OQ, UAT)
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate ideas and actions to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work in fast paced, challenging environment obviously with strong coaching
  • Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility to modify approach to achieve project/program objectives
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting abilities

EDUCATION & TOOLS:

  • Bachelor in Engineering or Science or Information Technology or Computer Science
  • High level of familiarity with MS Office package including Microsoft Project
