Matrix Rutherford is specifically designed for the nuclear industry and related test laboratories. The Matrix Rutherford LIMS configuration is an, out of the box, versatile software solution that features workflows for Environmental District Surveys, Liquid Discharge, Gaseous Discharge and Chemistry all in one system. The system can also be easily configured for Radioactive Waste Management applications.
Matrix Rutherford is built on Autoscribe’s Matrix Gemini platform using Microsoft C#, .NET technology and has been designed in co-operation with several companies working in the nuclear industry. Matrix Rutherford is suitable for many variations of work and sample tracking. It is especially strong on traceability, location tracking and the collation of reports for regulatory authorities, thereby saving significant operator time in the preparation of these reports. Automated summary reporting also virtually eliminates operator reporting errors. The system can also be connected to multiple instrument types used within the Nuclear Industry. Matrix Rutherford is designed for change to allow it to keep pace with changing business requirements. Matrix Gemini PET LIMS has been developed in collaboration with leading hospital based PET Centers in Denmark to facilitate daily work and fulfill GMP and Radiation Safety compliance. Using a touch screen computer all of the required information for radiopharmaceutical production is readily at hand. At each production stage, only tested and approved materials are available in the inventory to be used in the next step of production with the inventory automatically being decremented as materials are used. Users save time by using a computerized “one stop shop”. This enables them to find the latest version of a document such as an SOP, checklist or inventory, users. There is no need to check that a document is valid as only the latest approved version is displayed. Expiry dates are held against each item with expired materials flagged and unavailable for use in synthesis. Full traceability from a finished product backwards allows a user to view results and certificates of analysis for all the raw materials used in production with all actions time/date/user stamped for a full audit trail. Autoscribe’s Matrix Gemini LIMS conforms to regulatory requirements such as FDA 21 CFR11, current cGMP and European / National regulations. System and user actions are stored in the system’s event log. Double sign-offs have been implemented so a scientist is not allowed to validate their own results. Both Matrix Rutherford and Matrix Gemini PET LIMS uniquely permit the same screens to be configured OneTime only and deployed over the web, client/server, Citrix and tablet / touch screen pc’s.
