| The purchase a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to manage the data associated with and produced by the City of Scottsdale Water Quality Laboratory. The implementation of a new LIMS will ease the transfer of data between laboratory instrumentation and the LIMS, provide improved data tracking tools/features, improve data archiving abilities, communicate more effectively with other City of Scottsdale software, improve the process of reporting laboratory data to regulatory agencies and improve the quality assurance and quality control parameters associated with the reporting of data.
