The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate and award a proof-of-concept demonstration of a laboratory information management system software package. The contractor shall provide software and engineering support to demonstrate the functionality and compatibility of their commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software with existing laboratory infrastructure and institutional processes. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities and respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). Closing date is April 25, 2008.
