LimsLinkCDS Simplifies Interfacing with Any LIMS
Labtronics Inc announces the introduction of a new LimsLinkCDS interface that simplifies the creation of a secure, bi-directional connection between Chromeleon Chromatography Management Systems and any LIMS.
Configuration of the LimsLinkCDS – Chromeleon interface is quick and easy using drop-down menus and check-boxes that use Chromeleon terminology. Each analyst or group of analysts can setup and store their own interfacing configurations.
LimsLinkCDS queries the LIMS for worklists of samples to be run. The worklist can be transferred directly to Chromeleon or the analyst can view and edit the worklist to ensure it is complete and accurate. An Expansion Function in LimsLinkCDS can automatically expand the worklist to include standards, check samples and replicates. The expanded Chromeleon sequence can be approved by the analyst before being transferred to the CDS.
Results can be reported to the LIMS using Chromeleon’s standard reporting procedures. LimsLinkCDS automatically captures any Chromeleon report and transfers the data directly to any LIMS.
The fileless Chromeleon/ LimsLinkCDS interface communicates directly with Chromeleon and the LIMS without creating additional files outside of either application, a critical consideration with respect to 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. Electronic signatures, password protection and a full audit trail implementation further ensure that the interface provides the level of security and accountability required to maintain compliance as data are transferred between applications.
