LIS System Analyst
We are currently looking for a LIS System Analyst to join the Laboratory Information Systems team at a large, hospital-based laboratory in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. The LIS System Analyst will assist in the development, implementation, support, and expansion of Laboratory Information Systems within the framework of the Laboratory and it's mission. The selected candidate will need sufficient knowledge of existing computer systems within the laboratory and CD Health to effectively troubleshoot high level LIS computer system problems, maintain databases, install interfaces, and lead the development and implementation of LIS computer systems projects. The job requires a high degree of self- motivation and independent decision making. The LIS Systems Analyst will report directly to the LIS Manager, or to the Administrative Director of Lab Services (ADLS) in the absence of the LISM.
Basic Preferred Profile:
- BS in Computer Science or Medical Technology
- 2+ years of healthcare information systems support and development experience, 4+ years of experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required
Salary and Benefits:
