Low cost, entry level Matrix LIMS Express with full upgrade path available
Matrix Express LIMS provides all the key functions expected of a LIMS including sample / work registration, worklist creation, result entry, result validation, sample approval and reporting. In addition, sample / test status may be monitored. Data tables for sample submitters, products / substances, tests and system users are provided. The product is FDA 21CFR11 ready and features eSignature, audit trail and version control.
Matrix Express may be upgraded to a site-wide Matrix Plus system and can be further upgraded to Matrix Enterprise LIMS. The Matrix Plus offers complete configurability of screens and menus and hence complete appearance of the system without the need for programming or use of proprietary, esoteric scripting tools.
Matrix LIMS is a true “n-tier” application and can be deployed across your network in many different ways. It is divided into four layers – a workflow layer, a business logic layer, a database access layer and a powerful ASP.NET application that provides exactly the same screens for use via a web browser as those of the Windows client – At the same time, On the same system!
OneTime Software Configuration Technology greatly simplifies product deployment over the web since screens only need to be configured once for use on the web, client / server, thin client, Citrix / Windows Terminal Server and Pocket and Tablet PCs.

Support
Autoscribe provides extensive support to Matrix users through support contracts which include regular software upgrades. A hot-line telephone service is provided plus consultancy services, instrument interfacing advice and implementation, custom software for specialist applications and a full range of training courses. System configuration is also offered which includes a site visit for the purposes of defining the exact needs prior to installation.
User Groups
Matrix LIMS users benefit from regular user group meetings at which topics such as support, technical issues and future developments are most commonly presented and discussed. User meetings also provide an opportunity for users to input their ideas for future enhancements and to exchange ideas and views with other users. The concept of user meetings is one that is fully encouraged and supported by Autoscribe. We need to know the opinions of our customers in order to maintain our high standards and development innovation.
Training
Autoscribe provides regular training courses covering a variety of topics covering Matrix LIMS and our scientific and business software solutions. Training courses may also be provided at a customer’s site, or at a hotel local to that site. We offer a range of customer configurable training courses from System Overview to System Management.
Courses are intended for the complete spectrum of customer employees from the occasional user of scientific and business solutions software through to LIMS Administration and associated IT support staff. Certificates of Attainment can be provided for customer training records.
Autoscribe routinely runs regular web based training sessions on a variety of topics. Typically these run for 1 to 1.5 hours and you can book on a multiple company course or alternatively book a 1:1 session with a course instructor.
