Manager, Enterprise Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)

We are representing a client who is seeking their next Manager of Enterprise Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide strategic and operational leadership for the LIS to ensure the effective development and implementation of programs that will support the laboratory goals and objectives.

Among other duties, your specific responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Managing a team of five senior LIS analysts
- Overseeing strategies and operations of centralized LIS across the system.
- Ensuring the establishment and maintenance of user departmental procedures relating to computer systems.
- Developing / Maintaining effective backup/recovery plans for system downtime
- Promoting and managing the inclusion of the health system's labs in the effort to integrate the systems.
Basic Preferred Profile:
- BS in Medical Laboratory Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Related.
- 3+ years' experience in a management or supervisory capacity
- 5+ years' experience with laboratory systems (LIS), for example SoftLab, Meditech, Sunquest, Quest, and clinical interface standards.
- 5+ years' experience in a healthcare / hospital environment. Experience with large complex healthcare software applications is considered a big plus.
- At + years' experience with all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and/or project life cycle (PLC).
Salary and Benefits Highlights:
- $115k – $140k annual salary (based on experience)
