A Manufacturing Associate's primary responsibilities include performing a variety of operational tasks in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Associates must work effectively in a team environment to achieve company goals and must adhere to all company compliance, safety, and attendance requirements.
Requirements:
Responsibilities
– Safely operates complex equipment in accordance with cGMP's
– Regularly applies theories and principles for one's technical discipline
– Effectively trains other personal on preparation operations
– Troubleshoot basic equipment and recommend solutions
– Participate in area continuous improvement projects
Qualifications
– High School/GED with 3-5 years of experience OR
– Associate's degree with 0-2 years of experience OR
– Bachelor's degree (highly preferred)
Physical Requirements
– Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis
– Capable of standing for a minimum of 6 hours, stooping, kneeling, climbing
– Limited exposure to hazardous chemicals
– Must be able to wear an air powered or regular respirator
– Personal protective equipment including safety glasses, lab coat, gloves, specialized clothing including laboratory scrubs (pants and shirt) and appropriate shoes will be required in areas associated with this position
– Majority of day spent in clean rooms requiring full gowning
