MBI Appoints UBI as Resellers in Canada

Calgary, AB, Canada (PRWEB) February 25, 2004-–Molecular Biology Insights Inc. (MBI), a Cascade, Colorado based life sciences company specializing in PCR, announced today that it entered into a distribution agreement in Canada with United Bioinformatica Inc. (UBI) for its product Oligo, a tool to design primers for amplification of DNA. Oligo is one of the most mature and best known PCR design programs in the industry. Oligo performs a range of functions for researchers in PCR and related technologies; consensus, multiplex and degenerate primers, oligonucleotide database, secondary structure, LCR and more.

According to Lindsay Moir, President of UBI, “PCR reactions are becoming more complex. For example, researchers are commonly conducting multiplex PCR. Oligo is a mature product that can handle these diverse needs exceptionally well.”
