Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician
We are working with a local laboratory to identify a MLT or MT/MLS candidate for a full time, 2nd shift opportunity or evening shift. The selected candidate will perform and provide results for medical laboratory analysis of body fluids and tissue or prepare blood component/products for infusion to patients, in compliance with laboratory procedures. Laboratory results are used by the physicians for diagnosis and determination or evaluation of treatments for illnesses of patients. Physicians order Blood Products for patients to treat certain conditions resulting from illness or injury. Provides patient care/services for all stages of the lifespan including pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
Basic Preferred Profile:
For MLT:
– Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology
– MLT(ASCP) certification or similar preferred
For MT/MLS:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related
– MT/MLS(ASCP) certification or similar preferred
Salary:
$20 to $30 per hour
