New Automated Biomolecule Deconvolution Software Launched
Thermo Electron Corporation (NYSE:TMO) has introduced new software to automatically process biomolecule LC/MS data, using integration and deconvolution algorithms – ProMass™ Deconvolution 2.0.
ProMass Deconvolution 2.0 is primarily targeted at any current users of electrospray ionization for molecular weight determination of large biomolecules such as intact proteins. The software utilizes Novatia’s novel algorithm, ZNova,™ which generates deconvoluted spectra that are free of artifacts.
Scientists will benefit from ProMass Deconvolution 2.0 because it:
- Produces artifact-free deconvoluted ESI mass spectra of biomolecules.
- Automatically processes multiple files from an Xcalibur sample sequence.
- Provides web-based results including chromatograms, color-coded summary and tabular results.
- Automatically finds and reports target masses of proteins, peptides, and oligonucleotides.
