This new groundbreaking series focuses on the top questions LIMSExpert.com readers have been asking about LIMS products from around the world.
The focus of this new series, Beyond the Press Release, will be on innovators, large and small, that are tapping into diverse LIMS markets worldwide.
Our aim is to leave the traditional information behind and focus on the actual technology that is driving today’s real LIMS solutions. This series will not aim to tell you what to buy. Rather, it is going to tell you which products are doing things differently and to highlight synergies between the software industry, LIMS team management, and the LIMS developers that result in enhanced product offerings. The history, past successes of the development team, and corporate information of the vendor are left out to make room for what matters most: the success of the product and what went right to make that happen.
We are going ask the questions that readers have been quietly asking us like: What kind of language is so-and-so LIMS written in? What kind database does it use? How much is it going to cost? How long between releases? And more.
