GUELPH, Canada July 29, 2003 – Labtronics Inc. announces the release of Nexxis ver 1.1, an Electronic Laboratory Notebook solution that can be deployed throughout the laboratory to securely automate and enforce all aspects of Standard Operating Procedures, including data collection from small instruments.
Highlights of the new release include compatibility with Oracle and SQL server databases, new options that simplify SOP automation and powerful new features for reporting, including fileless reporting of data to LIMS and other applications.
Nexxis ensures that instrument data is accurately collected, analyzed and reported in an environment that meets regulatory compliance requirements. Compatibility with Oracle and SQL server databases allows Nexxis to fully integrate with the laboratory’s existing database infrastructure.
SOP automation is made easier with the addition of new forms templates that can be customized to meet any requirement. When creating a method for automating an SOP, a user can select the forms templates they need and modify them to match the SOP. This not only simplifies SOP automation, it also gives a consistent look and feel to all Nexxis methods.
Nexxis’ sophisticated reporting capabilities now provide for secure and flexible delivery of results using a host of powerful options for report design, format and distribution. In addition to fileless reporting, Nexxis can now export reports in PDF, HTML, Word® and Excel® formats.
