Nexxis ST Selected by Leading Food & Beverage Manufacturer
Labtronics Inc. is pleased to announce that a leader in the Food & Beverage industry has selected Labtronics Nexxis ST (Sample Tracker) as an upgrade from their existing in-house system for tracking sample tests and results.
Concerned that their legacy data management system was running on an unsupported database platform the organization recognized the need for an updated solution that could be deployed on a faster, fully supported database platform, allowing them to keep pace with an increasing sample load without having to add additional personnel in the laboratory.
Recognizing that a full blown LIMS solution provided more functionality than they needed and was beyond the budget that they had allocated for the upgrade, they selected Nexxis ST, a cost-effective, out-of-the-box solution that fully meets their needs to log in samples, assign them to tests and then track and report test results.
Productivity in the lab will be enhanced as analysts are now able to add or delete sample tests on the fly and to assign a test or group of tests to a sample batch rather than individual samples. A web client, audit trail and electronic signatures capabilities are additional Nexxis ST features that will deliver real value by providing flexibility of deployment and a secure platform for their data.
Phase 1 of the project will focus on Nexxis ST Implementation and migration of data from the existing system. Phase 2 will add integration of their laboratory instruments with Nexxis ST, completely eliminating any manual data handling.
