PerkinElmer Announces New Products, Media Event, Executive Speech at PITTCON 2005
50th Anniversary of PerkinElmer’s Gas Chromatograph to Be Highlighted; PerkinElmer Life and Analytical Sciences President Peter Coggins to Speak at ACS/Centcom Breakfast
PerkinElmer Inc. a leading provider of drug discovery, life science research, and analytical solutions, will showcase industry-leading products and highlight its 50 years of innovation in gas chromatography (GC) at the annual Pittsburgh Conference (PITTCON) from February 27 – March 4 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, at booth #4728.
During the show, PerkinElmer Life & Analytical Sciences (LAS) will showcase new products that drive greater productivity and more accurate results in a number of key analytical science and instrumentation areas, including gas chromatography, atomic spectroscopy, infrared and UV/Vis spectroscopy, thermal analysis, liquid chromatography, and laboratory information management systems. The company will also celebrate the 50th anniversary of its gas chromatography technology by highlighting many of the “firsts” that PerkinElmer has achieved in GC over the past five decades. This display will include a PerkinElmer Model 154 gas chromatograph, the first commercially successful GC introduced in 1955.
Peter Coggins, Ph.D., president of PerkinElmer LAS, will be a featured speaker at the American Chemical Society/Centcom Ltd. 27th Annual Breakfast on March 1. The topic of the event is “The Global Analytical Instrument Business.”
